Eight Toyota Manufacturing Facilities Recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Improved Environmental PerformanceERLANGER, Ky. (July 25, 2012) – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized eight Toyota manufacturing sites in North America for achieving a ten percent reduction in energy intensity through its ENERGY STAR Challenge For Industry program. Toyota to Increase V6 Engine Production in AlabamaERLANGER, Ky. (May 17, 2012) -- Toyota announced today it will expand its Huntsville, Ala. engine facility to increase North American production of V6 engines. The approximately $80 million investment will bring total plant investment to more than $700 million.
